About the Author

A Well-Marked Path toward Chastity

While The Augustine Way includes selection from many authors, the genius of the program is the strategy for working through the exact nature of unchaste habits. There is a very clear process for recognizing and defeating cravings and temptations, laid out methodically in 12 Modules, typically covered in 12 group meetings.

We call The Augustine Way a “workbook” because participants are expected to put pen to paper and actively work through various exercises. There are personal assessments, meditations, prayer assignments, and more.

Each Module contains an opening prayer, a module teaching covering its main points, reading selections, group discussion, lectio divina, and various worksheets.

Overall, The Augustine Way is a roadmap for understanding sexuality and striving for chastity, structured to lead participants on a clear path toward freedom.
